Lights. Shade. Let’s take Action.

Be a part of a legacy.

Over 20 years ago, a small group of Orange residents pooled their resources and raised enough funding to form the Orange Dog Park Association. They approached the City of Orange with resources and a plan. The City agreed to form a Public/Private Partnership. The Orange Dog Park opened its gates. Over the next 4 years, the Association repaid a no-interest loan from the City to cover the cost of the irrigation system.

In subsequent years, the Association has covered the cost of amenities for the Orang Dog Park, including dog cleanup stations, tools, and bags, as well as insurance to cover the all volunteer staff that make it happen. We do 100% of this through donations and helping hands.

Lights and shade structures, along with a few other logistical upgrades are already on the City’s Capital Improvement List. There are a few more things that need to happen before we are 100% cleared to go. However, things are moving the right direction and we can use your help.

The goal of ODPA to operate the Park financially independent of the City. We have a strong base of regular visitors and supporters.  We have the ability, by the very nature of our relationship with the City, to be the catalyst to making our Park the finest in the Southland. Your donation increases the sense of pride in our community, along with knowing that you had a hand in making this all happen.

Your generosity is so greatly appreciated.
